SALVATION

Jesus forgave my sin and became my Lord and Savior on June 26, 1974, at the age of 14.  Our church youth group from First Baptist Church of Haskell was on a mission trip in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I was baptized on a Sunday on returning to Oklahoma.

CALL TO MINISTRY

As a young man, God called me to the mission field of public education. I began teaching mathematics and coaching in 1984, and God has blessed with numerous opportunities allowing me to lead students, parents, and fellow educators to faith in Christ Jesus.

CALL TO PREACH

In the year 2000 at the age of 39, God called me to preach His Word.  With His calling, He also empowered me as I began as pastor of the Wilson Community Baptist Church, Henryetta, Oklahoma, March 2000. In September of 2004, at the direction of the Lord, we began to travel as I answered the call to serve as a full-time evangelist.

CALL TO OVERSEAS MISSIONS

In 2012, I left the United States for the first time to journey to Africa. While there, God burned in my heart a passion to begin an evangelistic ministry in Malawi and other countries in southern Africa. I make two month-long trips most years taking teams to train Pastors and church leaders in evangelism. Our heart and vision is to reach places and people that have little or no access to the message of Jesus Christ.

PERSONAL

My wife Traci and I were married on November 6, 1981, and have 4 wonderful children along with terrific in laws. We are blessed with 10 grandchildren. I serve as the staff evangelist at The First Baptist Church of Haskell, Oklahoma.
